House in Kansas..............

I think my old house in Kansas is going to be sold very soon!!!!!!!!!!!! But, mommy is not saying anything until it's truly a done deal! Closing the end of October.............................cross your fingers.

Saturday fun

Today I woke up early, it was still dark outside....then I got to sleep in mommy's bed! Yipeeeeee! I love to snuggle on Saturday mornings....it's so warm and cozy. I actually fell back to sleep. I had wonderful dreams about kitties chasing birds outside, while I played in the hot tub. :-) I hope I get to do that again in real life, not just my dream. Today, mommy is doing things around the house....cleaning and organizing what she calls bills. She told me she needed to pay a bill and then we would get to play! I'm waiting...in the mean time, she put on teletubbies for me to watch. I love teletubbies - they are so much fun! It's so pretty in Boise now, being fall and all! We went for a drive last night and it was fun - I fell asleep. Darn! Today, Isabelle and Elijah are coming over for a little bit to play and grandmommy is going to watch us. I think our mommy's have to go to some party, they wont take us to. Darn!!! But at least I get to play with my friends while she is gone! :-)

Hot tub is hooked up!!!!!

I got to get in the HOT TUB!!! Mommy bought this hot tub over 1 month ago and she had to have MANY different people in to figure out how to plug it in. I'm not sure why it took so many people to figure out how to stick the chord into the outlet....they do it all the time with other plug in things. But, I'm only 18 months old, what do I know. Anyway, after hearing the talk about sending the "tub" back, they finally figured out how to plug it in! Tonight we got to go inside and I swam!!!! Oh, my gosh, it was soooo much fun. Mommy was calling me a fish. It must have been all the jumping and dunking under water that I was doing....I actually could touch the bottom! :-) I hope we get to go again tomorrow!

Ok....well, today was interesting at daycare! I was in my playpin just getting up after nap when Mommy came in to get me! Yippy! She doesn't usually get there that early. When she came in the room, the light was on - all of us kids were awake from nap, but still in our playpins where we sleep......two of my friends were running around the room. Guess what!?! There were NO teachers in my room when mommy got there! Mommy came in and said, "where is your teacher?" No one answered her. She picked me up and then Reece ran over to her.....she picked up Reece also and we walked out of the room. Without even saying good-bye....Reece and I laughed at each other as Mommy carried us around the hallway. We walked up and down the hallway for a few minutes and then we went back to our classroom where Miss. Amanda came running....I guess she was scared the Reece let me out of my playpin and that Reece and I ran away. :-) Mommy said, "Tucker we should have left with Reece and we could have taken her home and no one would no any better." Darn, I wish we would have done that. That would be pretty neat to have Reece at home with me right now! Maybe next time.........?

New Sentences

Mommy was changing my diaper yesterday and I didn't want her to! I used two new sentences - "Let me go!" and "go way!" But, she did not listen!!! She kept holding onto me and made me put a diaper on!! Not fair!

Happy Fall

Here I am - my fall picture....they wouldn't let me actually climb the latter - DARN!!! But, I'm still able to show you what a big boy I'm turning into! Sorry, Mommy can't get the picture any bigger than this! Enjoy!!! I'll make her put the other one on to - they did pretty well, considering I was running away from them and after 2 pictures - I WAS DONE and wanted to go home!!!

Sometimes it's just so hard..........

being 18 months old.......I'm starting to throw a few tantrums. I don't think my mommy likes them, she always stays near me when I'm doing it, but she ignores me!!! What's up with that??? Today, she came to visit me at daycare when the Oogles and Googles lady came it to do the "community helpers" presentation. My mommy was sitting in the back of the room, tyring to hide from me, but I found her!!! I was so excited to see her. It's not very often that I get to see her in the middle of the day. oh, boy! I was sitting on her lap and then we began learning about Stop - Drop - Roll!!!! I was rollin' and havin' fun! Then I just kep going and I bumped my head on the floor - it hurt and I got mad. It's so hard cuz I don't know how to tell people what I want and they don't understand me!! So I get frustrated and more mad!! So, I then take it out on my mommy. :-( Today at daycare, she didn't even react to me. I couldn't believe it! What's up with that....maybe she thinks I'll get bored and stop if she ignores me? Oh, that's probably it!!! Huh, I'll show her...... :-)

New friends

Hi everyone!

It's Saturday and I got to play with some new friends today. It was a lot of fun! Mommy had to go meet with her new "boss" at Oogles and googles.....Miss. Tara has three little girls and two BIG dogs! They were fun to play with - they about pushed me over! WOW! Her girls are 6, 3 and almost 2. So, they are fun to play with. They have a big kitchen in their backyard, just like mine in my bedroom :-) They also have a slide like mine in my backyard - the best part - they live only a couple of blocks away. So, we were there in no time at all!! I have a feeling I will be spending a lot of time with them in the future! I'm glad they liked me, too!!!! They all chased all over the house to be with me!! :-)

Well, we are getting ready to go for a walk to the park now! Yippeeee! More time on the slide!!

Home sick......still

Well, little scholars wouldn't let me go back to school today....so, I'm home with Mommy AGAIN! Yippeeeeeeee! But now I'm throwing up!!!!!!!!!! I'm not going to get to go to school tomorrow either at this rate! WOW! What a week for me and Mommy!

I wish I could go to a park....that's why I posted this picture of me at the park from last weekend. I'm sad to be all locked up in the house!!!

My first real sentence......

I said my first real sentence and three people heard me say it! It was so mudch fun....the looks on their faces were priceless! I continued to repeat it for awhile, because it was so funny! It was at dinner and we were eating speghetti and garlic bread and grean beans.....I ate the garlic bread and grean beans.

Cryptosporidiosis

Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was tested for this and I have it!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder I haven't been feeling well for the past week! Mommy took me in to be tested for this yucky parasite...

You might be asking - what is this???
The number of cryptosporidiosis cases reported to the Central District Health Department continues to rise. As of Thursday September 6, 2007 the district had 76 confirmed cases. (I'm number 77!) Most cases have been reported in the last 30 days. This number far exceeds the record of 16 cases reported in a single year. All confirmed cases have been from Ada County and have a history of exposure to public recreational water features, large community swimming pools, lakes, rivers and canals. The increase in cryptosporidiosis cases is leading public health officials to alert medical providers, pool operators, child care providers, schools and the public about the outbreak and remind them of measures they can take to reduce the spread of the disease.
Cryptosporidiosis, commonly known as "crypto," is a diarrheal disease caused by tiny parasites. It is usually spread by accidentally swallowing water that has been contaminated with human stool or animal waste. The most frequent symptom is watery diarrhea with abdominal cramping, which can be accompanied by dehydration, weight loss, abdominal pain, fever, nausea, and vomiting. (I've had all of these - off and on for the past 8 days!) If people have been in recreational waters and are experiencing persistent, watery diarrhea, they are urged to consult their healthcare provider.
Once a person is infected, the parasites live in the intestines and are passed in the stool. There is effective medical treatment, consult your healthcare provider for more information. (I'm being treated now - actually, beginning tomorrow!) Infected persons can continue to spread the disease for several weeks after diarrhea subsides, so they should avoid activities involving recreational waters for at least two weeks after diarrhea subsides. (No swimming :-( !! Too bad.)

There were two kids in my school who got this and after mommy heard about this she began reading about the illness. Then she thought about how I've been feeling this past week and started think maybe I was sick too! Yup! She was right. My Doctor is going to fix me right up, however! She's the best!!!!!

CASI Annual Picnic!

What a long day it was........I had a fun bike ride with Mommy this morning in the cold 45 degree weather. Here's a picture of my outfit mommy dressed my in for the ride!

The picnic was lots of fun too!! I got to play on big playground equipment including slides and lots of climbing obsticles! My favorite. I got to eat weir cotton stuff on a stick - but I wasn't much for eating it. I enjoyed hitting things with it, afterall it is a stick!! Then there were these pretty girls dressed up in pretty outfits and they danced real pretty! That was fun too...there were lots of people and lots of food. I got a whole slice of watermelon to myself that I got to hold all by myself! But, I didn't understand why Grandmommy took it away from me as I was eating the green part?? That part was yummy! :-)

When we got home.....I got to go outside to play more! WOW!! But, then....I picked up a bee and the bee stung my hand. :-( That was NOT fun.

Bike ride and picnics!!

Today I get to go on a bike ride in the trailer with Mommy and I get to go to a picnic!!! A big picnic that is the annual picnic my mommy's office puts on for her adoptive families! So, that means I get to have lots of fun today!!!!! I can't wait to go on the bike ride! Yipeeeeee......I love that trailer and today it's 47 degrees outside! So, it will be nice and cold when we go. :-)

The picnic is going to have lots of entertainment - dancing, music and food from all the different countries that Mommy's office offers adoptions through. Guatemala, Ukraine, Haiti, China and of course the USA!! I think I'll be in the USA food line - I think they are having hot dogs in that line. All the other food sounds weird to me! But, I heard grandmom say she would be in the Ukraine line and mommy said she would probably be in the USA line - with me :-)!! Then I heard her say something about watermelon punch and cotton candy maker! WOW! I looooooooooove watermelon, so I'm sure I will love that! Cotton candy, I've never had that, but it sounds like fun! I'm sure we will have pictures to put on here when we get back.....the hardest part of the day will be.....the picnic is right during my nap! I've been loving my naps, too!! So, we'll see how this goes! Talk to you all later! I'm getting ready for that bike ride now! Yeah!!

Kitties

Hello everyone.....here I am with the kitties. Finally, Mommy got the computer to work to put these on. Sometimes the computer wants to work and other times it does not. I love kitties! I Wan't able to get a picture of Murphi....maybe next time. :-) She usually will run away from me when she sees me coming. I think it's because she doesn't like it when I sit on her. Oh, but she's so much fun to sit on.

I love Shoes.....I find them from everywhere in the house and gather them and pile them.....try them on.....walk in them, play with them....I love them! Can you tell??

Good Bye Summer - Hello Fall. I think the Fall is my favorite time of year here in Boise. It's so pretty!!!! The leaves turn all these really pretty colors and the flowers are pretty. The leaves fall and the wind is crisp and cool I can't swim outside, but I can still go swimming at the YMCA - so that's ok. Labor day marked one of the hotest days of the year here....but the cool temps are to begin tomorrow today was 101 degrees and tomorrow 86 and 76 on Wed. Yeah!

My k9 teeth are coming in, so I haven't been feeling real well this weekend. By the time I see you all in KC in October, I bet I will have all my teeth....to show you. :-) Bye, Bye!!
