Sleeping through the night as a big boy!!!

Here I am sleeping in the night in my big boy bed!!!!! Mommy snuck in my room at midnight and snapped this picture!!

bye-bye baby room, hello big boy room!!!

Well.......let me tell you about the funniest thing EVER!!!!!!!!! Yesterday, mommy let me take a nap in my big boy bed WITH my kitty, Callie. I was in my room a looooooong time before I went to sleep....I couldn't sleep. Callie jumped up on my changing table, so I wanted to go with her! I climbed up the changing table to be with her!!!! All of a sudden the door opened and grandma came in she got me down and put me in my crib. I was mad! I had made this huge accomplishment by climbing to the top, all by myself and she put me in my CRIB! So, I showed her - I swong my leg over the side, I decided to climb out of the crib to show her my great mountain climbing skills!

After nap, the next thing I knew - my mommy went into my room and told me to say "bye-bye" to my crib. I did and she began taking it apart!!! It was so cool....she tipped it on it's side and I crawled inside the crib while it was sideways! After she got the crib apart she told me to say "bye-bye" again......after I said my bye-byes she moved the crib out of my room! WOW!!! no more crib - freedom!!!!!!!!!!!

That wasn't it either!!!! She came back and took away my changing table - "What!" I thought, "My new mountian, you're taking away my new climbing mountain!??!" She moved it into the hallway and then the phone rang - my Buncle Kevin (that's what I call my great uncle) called and distracted her from moving it all the way to the garage.....so, I climbed it again while it was in the hall!! When she mommy saw me sitting at the top of the table......she smiled at me, picked me up gave me a hug and let le loose! She then moved the table to the garage and told me "You are not to go out there to play on that."

Bye- bye baby room - hello big boy room!!!!!!

I went to the park today to play with mommy....it was so much fun! She came and picked me up at school right after lunch - BEFORE my nap. We also watched "Finding Nemo" sooooo good!

Can you believe it - I FORGOT to blog after the BIG KU game!!!!!!! It was sooooo exciting watching the Jayhawks win the National Championship! Now mommy tries to put me in KU clothes ALL the time. I think she wants people to know we are ORIGINALLY FROM KANSAS and the KU is her alma mater!! She's very proud of those Hawks!!!
