tonsils are gone!!

Well, it's been an interesting two weeks. I had my tonsils removed and the best part was not the ice cream and all the slushes you want.....for me, it was staying home from school and hanging with my mommy. I have the best mommy in the world, you see. I snuggle her with my legs - I wrap them around her - it's my way of snuggling her. I love it when she snuggles me....so I've come up with a way to snuggle her. The surgery wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but the recovery was pretty aweful. Exactly as you read about on line if you google serch tonsil recovery in children. By day 9 I was on the mend....but I still want to stay home with my mommy so I raised a fuss.....I'm told I have to go tomorrow. Darn! The worst part about the pain was from my ears....the doctor calls it referred pain.....and it sure did hurt. I got dehydrated and wouldn't eat....but aside from that, once they gave me medicine for the pain that actually worked, I felt better.

I had a lot of game time with mommy.....we played board games and put puzzles together. I watched lots of movies and slept a lot too. I wouldn't recommend this surgery for fun, but if you have to have it done, be sure to enjoy the time with your mommy.....I'm told it can't happen again. :-( bummer.

today I htad a wonderful day. mommy got me a wii and I've played all night. mario mario is my favorite game. winter olympics sonic is also fun.

Happy New Year! 2011

It's amazing that I haven't written since July. Happy New Year friends and family. Life has continued to be great! Christmas was fantastic.....I had a magic elf, named Hollis, join my family. Santa sent him to me for the Holidays. On Christmas Eve Santa came back to the house to pick him up to help deliver the gifts to all the children in the world.....but, he did not leave my house without leaving me something to remember him by - a new Kitten!!!! Of course, I named her Hollis. It seemed most fitting to her. I love her sooo much!

Lake Day

Heading out to the lake for the day.....what a great day it is. The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Mommy says I'm big enough for the floating raft this year! Yes!!!! We don't have anything we HAVE to do this weekend. I love weekends where I get to just hang out and do whatever I want.....so, the lake it is. I wonder how long it will take to get there!?! I better take a pill so I don't get sick in the car. I get bad car sickness....mommy says, just like her!

Mommy came to school to pick me up yesterday and she had crazy hair. She cut it short and had red paint in it. I love the red stripe. When we went to the pool last night I told her I hoped the paint wouldn't get in the pool. It didn't AND it is still in her hair! WOW!

So, I will psot more about our trip to the lake with some pictures, I"m sure!

Beads in my ears!

Soooooooooooooo, I put a pink bead in my ear. Dr. Hilary says, "oh, Tucker, it's a big bead." She came over to my house to pull it out and said she may have to do surgery if she can't get it out. ohhhhh nooooooooooo! I held real still and she got it out!!! Yeah for my doctor! She is my hero! I drew her a special picture after she went home and last night mommy took me by her house to drop it off for her. She loved it. I will post it here for you to see.
